Pioneer Pride Patrol

What an amazing day as members of the Leavenworth Education Foundation spread good news and happiness throughout the district. As part of the annual Pioneer Pride Patrol, Board of Directors members made presentations to teachers through the Innovative Teacher Grants program. This effort celebrates the creativity and innovation in teachers as they push open the walls of their classrooms and provide awesome experiences for Leavenworth students.

Through this year's Innovative Teacher Grants program, 45 grant proposals were received, for a total of $111,315.79. Thirty-one grants were funded, for a total of $57,476.00.

With classroom visits at the secondary level, and assemblies at the elementary schools, teachers and staff members were surprised with the great news of these successful grants!

The hard work of the Leavenworth Education Foundation's annual campaign is celebrated each fall with this amazing contribution to Leavenworth classrooms. Thank you to all who submitted grant applications, to the Foundation Board of Directors for their work, and to the many businesses, individuals, and parents who donate to the Foundation each year.

It is a GREAT day to be a Pioneer!
